Ingredients

Rice crackers
Nuts: peanut, cashew, almonds
Chia seeds
Fruits: berries, figs, rhubarb
Vanilla

Directions

Jam

Cook your selection or fresh or frozen fruits with either a few stevia leaves or coconut sugar, until water evaporates and it becomes more dense. May add vanilla beans if desired.Blend it in a blender for smoother texture.

Nut butter

In blender, combine your favorite nuts and blend till smooth. May add pinch of salt. If too dense, may add a bit of avocado oil or olive oil. Add chia seeds for more energy.

Benefits

By making your own nut butter, you can avoid unnecessary sugars and salt which are frequently added to commercial nut butters. You will also have an opportunity to make whatever nut butter you like or make a combination of different nuts.
Your own jam will taste so much better and will not have as much sugars hence, your kid will not get a sugar overload, especially in school where you should maintain good focus after lunch.
