Superfoods are nutrient-rich foods considered to be especially beneficial for health and well-being. Usually, super food contains maximal amount of nutritious ingredients ( vitamins, antioxidants,  amino acids, proteins, omega 3,6,9, minerals, etc) much more than other foods from the same group.

It is very common for superfoods to be sold in a form of raw powders which are made from naturally dried superfoods. Temperatures used to dry them do not extend 104F (40C). This way, beneficial properties of the nutrients in superfoods are preserved and readily available for our body to absorb them.

I love cooking with them because they maximize the benefit of the prepared food.

If you have a peaky child, this is my to-go- food to sneak into smoothies, breakfast foods, etc. With just a little, you get SO much.
